Tender and Bids
The Tender and Bids process is an integral mechanism within Bionic DAO, designed to streamline the procurement of services and ensure the efficient operation of projects by leveraging the skills within our community.
Process Details
Service Tender Specifications: Each service tender clearly outlines the requirements and expectations to ensure all bids align with the DAO's needs.
Council's Role: The council is responsible for reviewing the tender submissions. They recommend or short-list candidates based on a predefined set of criteria, ensuring only the most qualified bids are considered.
Member Bidding: Once short-listed, DAO members can bid on the tender. This open bidding process fosters competition and transparency, allowing the best value proposition to emerge.
Community Voting: After the bidding phase, the entire DAO selects the service provider. This democratic approach ensures that the chosen provider has the community’s broad support.
Autonomy in Service Execution: The selected service provider is granted the autonomy to act and fulfil their role for a specified period without needing further votes for each decision or action. This efficiency is critical for agile project management and timely execution.
Objectives and Benefits
Efficiency in Operations: By enabling service providers to operate autonomously within the bounds of the tender, the DAO minimizes delays and bureaucratic hurdles, leading to faster project completion.
Community Empowerment: The process empowers members by involving them in key decisions, from bidding to final selection, enhancing engagement and ownership.
Quality and Competitiveness: The tender process is designed to attract high-quality services at competitive prices, leveraging the diverse capabilities of the DAO community.
